Terms of Service

Effective: July 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Infinite Road mobile app and related services (the "App"), provided by Infinite Road LLC ("we," "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a binding contract to use the App.

2. The Service

The App narrates audio stories about the places you pass while driving, generated from third-party reference sources, and provides road-trip planning and turn-by-turn navigation. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.

3. Your Account

Using the App requires signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for your sign-in credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your account information accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts as described in "Termination."

4. Driving Safety — Please Read

Your safety and the safety of others always come first. You are solely responsible for operating your vehicle safely and obeying all traffic laws. The App is designed to be listened to hands-free, but:

  • Do not interact with your phone, type, read the screen, or set up trips while driving. Pull over and stop first.
  • Navigation is provided as a convenience and may be wrong. Routes, guidance, and arrival estimates can be inaccurate, outdated, or unsafe for current conditions. Actual road conditions, signage, signals, closures, and the law always take precedence over anything the App says. Do not follow any route, suggestion, or "detour" that is unsafe or unlawful.
  • The App is not an emergency service and does not provide real-time hazard, traffic-enforcement, or road-closure warnings.
  • Stay attentive to the road, traffic, signs, and conditions at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any accident, injury, damage, citation, or loss arising from your use of the App while driving.

5. Content Accuracy

Narrations are generated by automated systems from third-party sources (such as encyclopedic and mapping data) and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Routes and navigation guidance are derived from third-party map data and may likewise be wrong. The App is for general interest and entertainment; do not rely on it for factual, historical, legal, financial, medical, or safety decisions. Actual road conditions may differ from routes and guidance — always exercise your own judgment.

6. License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use. You agree not to: reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the App or its content; abuse, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; circumvent free-trial or subscription limits; or use the App unlawfully.

7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

The App offers a limited free trial, paid auto-renewing subscriptions, and one-time passes. Where offered:

  • Pricing, the trial terms, and the billing period are shown in the App at the time of purchase.
  • Purchases are sold and billed through Apple; payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. One-time passes (such as a day pass) do not auto-renew.
  • The free trial is limited (for example, to a set number of trips per device) and may not be reset by reinstalling the App or creating new accounts.
  • Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies; we don't process payments directly.

8. Intellectual Property

We (and our licensors) own the App, its software, design, and branding. Third-party source material remains the property of its respective owners and is used under their terms. These Terms grant you no ownership rights.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access or account at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App, and may delete your account, at any time.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and Infinite Road LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for the App or its content, or for addressing any claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual-property claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list, and you agree to comply with applicable third-party terms (such as your wireless data agreement) when using the App.
