Answers to the questions that come up most, and how to get in touch if yours isn't here.
Get in Touch
Email support@infinite-road.app, or open the menu in the app and tap Feedback.
If you're reporting a problem, it helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and roughly where and when the drive happened. Sending it through Feedback attaches that detail for you.
The Free Drives
Your first three trips are free, with everything switched on: full narration, full navigation, no card required. A trip is a real trip — multiple stops, up to 24 hours. A trip counts once you start driving it, and only once, however long it runs.
Subscriptions
After the free drives, unlimited driving is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, both including trip planning. For a single road trip there's a $1.99 Day Pass — everything unlocked for 24 hours, and it does not renew.
To subscribe, or to see what you're on, open the menu and tap Subscription.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Billing is handled by Apple, so cancelling happens there: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are also handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring a Purchase
New phone, or reinstalled the app? Open the menu, tap Subscription, then Restore at the bottom of the screen. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.
If a purchase still doesn't appear, email us — include the date of purchase and we'll sort it out.
Redeeming a Code
Open the menu, tap Subscription, then Redeem a code.
CarPlay
Infinite Road runs on your car's screen: the map, your turns, and the narration controls. Plug in or connect wirelessly as you normally would, and the app appears on the CarPlay home screen.
If it doesn't show up, check that Infinite Road is enabled under Settings › General › CarPlay, select your car, and look at the list of apps allowed on the screen.
Music and Podcasts
Stories are meant to fit around what you're already listening to. Music ducks down for the length of a story and comes back up. Podcasts and audiobooks pause instead — talking over talking doesn't work — and resume when the story ends.
If you'd rather hear less, open Settings and lower the narration frequency. The app would rather stay quiet than tell you something dull.
Where the Stories Come From
Nothing is pre-recorded. Each story is written for the road you're actually on, drawing on published reference material about the places you pass, and shaped by whatever you've told the app you're interested in. That's why it works on ordinary roads and not just famous ones — and why two drives down the same highway won't sound the same.
If a story isn't to your taste, tap Skip on the story card and the app moves on. To hear more or less overall, adjust the narration frequency in Settings.
Your Account and Data
Your location stays on your phone. We don't store your location or your trip history on our servers. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
To delete your account and everything attached to it, open the menu, tap Settings, and choose Delete Account. It takes effect immediately and can't be undone. Note that deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription — do that in your iPhone's Settings, as above.
Requirements
Infinite Road needs an iPhone running iOS 15.1 or later, a data connection while you drive, and location access. For narration to continue with the screen off, keep location set to Always.
